4 Girls & 2 Boys...

Due date is here...
10:30am... Momma is getting
some last minute rest
before the little ones arrive.
Checked her temperature last night
and this morning and all is normal.
She may not deliver until Saturday
or Sunday.
She seems very comfortable!!
April 8th
She is doing lots of nesting, but
won't go to her whelping
box... Yikes... I can't leave her for
a minute.
She better not start having them
on my sofa!!
Her last litter she gave me NO
warning and no temperature drop
and I left her for just a few minutes
and she had 3 pups in my Daughter's
BeanBag Chair!!!

1:45pm... I left her alone for a few
minutes to go down to the kennel
and I came back to her wrapped
up tightly in a blanket.... cushions
tossed all over the floor....
Some serious NESTING going on!!
Still no drop in temperature.

7:15 pm PUPPIES!!!
I can't believe she did it to me
again! I was down at the kennel
feeding the dogs and came up
to THREE pups born on Katies
blanket in her room.... beside
the whelping box... I have moved
her over and she has more to
go.... So far a black Tri or Bi,
and two nice Red Tris.... not sure
if male or females yet... I really
didn't get a chance to look...
Back to my midwife duties!!!
